Campus Spaces, Amenities & Dining Options
The Lawrence Campus is pretty big! At over 412 acres with 147 buildings, it's easy to not know where everything is located or what types of spaces are available to students across campus. Below we outline some spaces for reflection, studying, eating, and a map that includes lactation rooms and all gender restrooms.
DEIB Campus MapStudy Spaces & Reflection Rooms
There are a number of libraries on campus that offer quiet study spaces. A full listing of study spaces in each library can be accessed at the links below. Some study spaces and rooms can be reserved. There is also a Graduate Study Lounge on the 4th floor of Watson Library that provides a limited amount of free printing to graduate students.
There are also a number of Reflection Rooms across campus. A full listing of the locations and the room guidelines can be found on the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging's campus map.
All Gender Restrooms & Lactation Rooms
All gender restrooms and lactation rooms are located across campus. Please visit the DEIB Campus map for a full listing of locations.
Dining On and Near Campus
There are a number of dining options on and close to campus.
On campus, there are three food courts:
•The Market is located in the Kansas Memorial Union at the north end of campus
•The Underground is located on the bottom floor of Wescoe Hall in central campus
•The Courtside Cafe is located in the DeBruce Center next to Allen Fieldhouse on the south-end of the main campus

Convenience store-style eateries and other coffee shops are located throughout campus. Additional eating options on campus include cafes in GSP and Cora Downs Residence Halls, The Bus Stop in Self Residence Hall and Chik-fil-a in the Kansas Union.

Near campus, you can dine at the Birddog Cafe (soups, sandwiches, pastas, burgers) or The Slice (pizza) in the Oread Hotel at the north end of main campus.The Wagon Wheel bar and pizzaria on 14th street serves pizza.
Dining Off Campus
Lawrence has a LOT of dining options including fast food, local cafes & coffeeshops, diners, breweries, upscale and casual dining, in many different styles and cuisines. Explore all the options at the Unmistakably Lawrence website.
