Graduation Requirements for Master's Students

Step 1: Check with your school or graduate support staff for deadlines and guidelines for degree completion.

Step 2: Submit the Application for Graduation in Enroll & Pay.

**NOTE: Steps 3 and 4 are only required for students who complete a thesis-option master's degree.**

Step 3: Submit required paperwork to your school

• ETD Release (Embargo) Form for KU Scholarworks
  • ETD Release Form
  • ETD Release Form for Creative Writing MFA/PHD students ONLY

Step 4: Submit your final, approved thesis to ProQuest.
