Student Access Center

Student Access Services assist students with disabilities by facilitating
accommodations that remove barriers to their academic success. SAS authorizes
reasonable and appropriate accommodations for qualified students with
documented disabilities, assists students in self-advocacy, educates the University of
Kansas about disabilities, and ensures compliance with federal and state law.

Watkins Health Services Gender Affirming Care

At Watkins Health Services, we know that gender identity is a spectrum and that not everyone’s path is the same. Your first appointment on this path is a consultative appointment where your provider will focus on getting to know you and assessing your personal goals for your journey.

Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity

SGD works to build a community and coalition of queer and trans students, faculty, and staff that challenges, supports, and celebrates each other. We do this through programs and events, educational trainings and presentations, and advocating for policies and practices which promote success for queer and trans students at the University of Kansas. The Center is also a physical lounge space for our LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and faculty to feel safe and respected on the KU campus in Lawrence.

Trans @ KU Resources

The Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity provides a comprehensive space for resources, services,
offices, and information on civil rights for transgender students. Information and support for name or
gender change, gender-inclusive housing, legal services, health services, scholarships, peer support
groups, events and activities and more are included
